Cook Time: 3 hours
Ingredients:
- 16oz Tio Pelons Salsita Birria Adobo Sauce
- 40oz water
- 2 lbs chuck roast
- corn or flour tortillas
- Garnish: Lime, Tio Pelon Salsita of your choice, red onion, queso
In a medium sized pot, combine jar of birria adobo sauce, 40 oz of water, and 2lbs of chuck roast. Leave uncovered and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce heat to medium and cover the pot to let simmer for 3 hours. While this is cooking, enjoy some of Tio Pelons Award winning salsa to satiate your appetite! After 3 hours, carefully remove the meat from the pot and shred. Serve your shredded meat on perfectly cooked tortillas and garnish with lime, slasa, red onion, and queso to create delicious food truck style tacos that your family and friends will love.
